I design beautiful and considered interiors for businesses and homes. Creating aesthetic spaces which encapsulate my clients aspirations.
I believe that interior design should reflect who you are. Whether it’s a business or home my process always starts with the brief. By carefully listening to my clients, I get to really understand the desired functionality for the space. I then use this knowledge to create personalised unique spaces with my clients at the core.

Given the current climate it is essential that businesses design their workplace with their people being at the heart of the design – focusing on their comfort and performance. My goal is to create fresh dynamic environments that inspire staff and leave customers and clients feeling valued. A well-designed interior encourages better collaboration, increased productivity and supports employee well-being. Staff should feel motivated and excited by the prospect of coming to work. I look at design as more than simply a choice of aesthetics but also a way to improve efficiency and enhance function. The workplace, whether that be an office, restaurant or beauty salon, is often the clients first point of contact and gives them their first impression of the business. The interior is ultimately an extension of you and your brand. Considered floor plans combined with layers of textures, colours and materials create punchy backdrops to showcase their business.

When designing homes I like to balance beauty and functionality. I team practical space planning with considered selections of colours and materials. Aesthetically pleasing spaces can be mood boosting and I truly believe that beautiful interiors have a huge impact on wellbeing. Just by making small changes and adjustments the transformation can be huge. I’m always inspired by my clients and love creating homes that not only look gorgeous but improve everyday living.

My love for all things creative started in secondary school, early on I knew I wanted to form a career in design. After gaining a foundation diploma in Art and Design I went on to receive a BA Hons degree in interior Design at Manchester Metropolitan University in 2006.

Prior to forming Electric Blue Interiors I gained 12 years of industry experience within Manchester City Centre architects firms. Working on a variety of projects ranging from fast paced roll out schemes for clients such as McDonalds and Dominos to rebranding small independent coffee shops and office interiors.

In August 2018 Jennie I flew solo forming Electric Blue Interiors. A Hale based commercial interior design company creating unique interiors from concept through to completion.
